Harvard Hoax: Impostor Pleads Guilty, Owes $46K

WOBURN, Mass. (CBS/AP) Adam Wheeler fooled a lot of people in their proverbial Ivy tower, but on Thursday the 24-year-old Delaware pleaded guilty to larceny, identity fraud and other charges for faking his way into the Ivy League school, and was ordered to repay the college nearly $46,000.

Wheeler was sentenced to 10 years of probation, plus paying restitution to Harvard for the financial aid, scholarship money and academic awards he fraudulently received.
