School shooting

New details are emerging about the 14-year-old accused of opening fire at a South Carolina elementary school, wounding two 6-year-old students and a teacher. A family friend of the accused gunman says the teen was suspended for bringing a weapon to school, and had been home-schooled since.

Youth appeal

Hillary Clinton campaigns in Iowa today, on the first day of in-person, early voting in that state. Clinton may have won the nomination, but campaigning with former rival Bernie Sanders, she acknowledged there’s one thing he still has on her: younger voters.

Touting Trump

A Mississippi lawyer in a big white RV covered in the image of Donald Trump’s face is traveling the Sunshine State to build enthusiasm for the GOP presidential nominee.
