Women's vote

Bernie Sanders has maintained a strong lead over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the polls in New Hampshire, but she's tried to narrow the gap with an an appeal to women. While she easily wins among women her age, younger women seem to be feeling "the Bern." We try to find out why.

Competitive advantage?

The governors in the presidential race are betting their candidacies on New Hampshire. Jeb Bush, John Kasich and Chris Christie have spent considerably more resources in the state than their opponents. The outcome of today's primary will have serious implications for them, and maybe for New Hampshire, too.

No-man's land

Syria's civil war may have reached a turning point. The Assad dictatorship, backed by relentless Russian airstrikes, is close to surrounding Aleppo, an opposition stronghold and once Syria's most populous city. Thousands have fled for their lives, only to be caught in a no-man's land along Turkish border.

Commander in Chief

"CBS This Morning" sat down recently with President Obama and the first lady at the White House. Mr. Obama reflected on his final months on the job, opened up about how the role has changed him, and told CBS News what stresses him out about the future.

Cancer test

In the fight against cancer, a test that could detect a tumor before a patient shows symptoms would be a game-changer, but experts say that's still three to five years away. A CBS News investigation has found one test on the market, however, that could be giving patients a false sense of security. (This story will be on CBSNews.com from 7:30 a.m. Eastern.)

Lyme disease

A new culprit behind Lyme disease has been discovered, and it can cause even nastier symptoms than its predecessor. The bacteria is spread by ticks, just like other cases of Lyme disease, but experts say there are a number of significant differences.

Mark Ronson

"Uptown Funk" was one of last year's biggest hits. Producer Mark Ronson and singer Bruno Mars could win Record of the Year at the Grammys, now less than a week away on CBS. Ahead of the big night, we ask the pop music superproducer about his career, and his triple-nominated album, "Uptown Special."
