New Hampshire wildcard
With an opportunity to vote in either the Republican or Democratic primary, undeclared voters create a unique campaign dynamic in the Granite State, and as many as 44 percent -- more than either party boasts -- are undeclared. They could have a huge impact on Tuesday's first-in-the-nation primary.
Trump's reset
"There was a big difference between second and third," Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told reporters at a press conference before a rally in Milford, New Hampshire. It was a stark contrast from the bombastic rhetoric he's often deployed, and a shift from one of his his central arguments.
Severe weather
At least eight reported tornadoes tore through the South on Tuesday, with one touching down in Scooba, Mississippi, and making it all the way to Alabama. It leveled homes and left a path of destruction that stretched across both states.
Cheating veterans?
A Congressional hearing will begin today in response to a CBS News investigation that showed how a costly new cure for hepatitis C isn't making it to most of the 200,000 U.S. veterans infected with the disease -- many as a result of their service.
Somali jet
Somali officials say there's no evidence, thus far, to suggest criminal activity caused a massive hole to appear in the side of a passenger jet as it took off from Mogadishu. However, as Mark Phillips reports, "if it walks like a bomb and talks like a bomb -- it's probably a bomb."
