Any winner?
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have appeared on the same stage for a candidate event for the first time, and it proved a difficult night for both of them. Clinton faced a barrage of questions about her use of private email, while Trump misrepresented his record on the Iraq War and again lauded Vladimir Putin.
Private funding
Unlike any other presidential candidate in modern history, Donald Trump is using his businesses for his campaign. His headquarters is at Trump Tower, press conferences are often at Trump properties. We take a look at how some of Trump’s campaign money is making its way back to the candidate himself.
Clinton’s comms
House Democrats have released a full email exchange in which Colin Powell advised Hillary Clinton just after she was sworn in as secretary of state on the use of personal email and devices. The exchange occurred just two days after she took over the cabinet position in 2009. “Be very careful,” warned Powell.
