Mass shooting

New information is emerging about the suspect who was fatally shot by police after a deadly rampage in Kansas. At least 10 people are in critical condition and three others were killed in the spree, which stretched across two towns outside Wichita and ended at a factory where the alleged gunman worked.

Taking punches

Armed with the opposition research that's been lacking in the previous nine debates, Marco Rubio took the strongest swings he could muster Thursday night at Republican front-runner Donald Trump. Rubio hit Trump from every angle -- and he had help. But was it enough to deal teflon Trump a serious blow?

"Common ground"

As she crisscrosses the state to make her final pitch to South Carolinians, Hillary Clinton has started to talk a lot about one thing: unity. With Donald Trump storming toward a possible Republican nomination, Clinton's focus on togetherness has become even more deliberate and urgent.

Lost the plot?

Dropping out of the race has apparently liberated Lindsey Graham to express some very profound -- and profane -- concerns for his own party. The South Carolina senator held no punches at the Washington Press Club Foundation's annual dinner as he ripped into his former campaign rivals.

Trump's taxes

Donald Trump's rivals are pressing him to release his tax returns. The billionaire says the government is keeping him from doing so, but his opponents say he has something to hide. We dig into the tax filings of the Donald J. Trump Foundation, to see how charitable the GOP front-runner has been.

"American Girls"

The first generation of kids to grow up with social media are living through "a new kind of childhood" framed by selfies, and sexting, and enormous peer pressure. After immersing herself in it for two and a half years, author Nancy Jo Sales was "shocked" by much of what she saw.

TV diversity

Despite the controversy over this year's Oscar nominations, another part of Hollywood -- television -- has a long history of featuring people of color in key roles. But does the small screen really do a better job of reflecting America's true diversity?
