Paris investigation

Police conducted at least 150 raids overnight, sweeping up suspected extremists and those linked to them in the wake of the devastating attack on Paris. With the hunt on for a surviving attacker, the investigation is also ramping up in an impoverished neighborhood in the Belgian capital with links to the attackers, and the man believed to have plotted the carnage.

Bearing witness

"60 Minutes" meets two witnesses to the assault on Paris. One of them was shot as he played dead inside the concert hall where most of the victims were killed. The other watched innocent people shot down by a terrorist. Together they paint a picture of the day that darkness fell on the City of Light.

Dangerous encryption?

The Paris attacks have officials warning that terrorists are increasingly using encrypted communications to keep their conversations secret. American and British officials want companies to preserve a way to unlock these communications when there's a warrant, but cyber experts warn it's nearly impossible to create a backdoor that can't also be exploited by bad actors.

Bands react

When one of the prime targets -- and the most deadly -- of the terror attacks in Paris is a rock concert, the question becomes; what do other bands do? Should they cancel similar events or continue to stage them in defiance? Both happened.

Antibiotics warning

Antibiotic-resistant infections pose a growing threat, and the American Academy of Pediatrics says children with cancer and other serious health problems are especially at risk. In a new report, the group pins some of the blame on overuse of these drugs in farm animals that don't really need them.

Salaries vs. tipping?

It's no coincidence that some restaurants are dispensing with tipping at the same time that many states and cities are raising the minimum wage. Here's why rising labor costs could spell the end of tipping.
