Locked out
The cockpit voice recorder recovered from the wreckage of Germanwings Flight 9525 indicates that one of the pilots was locked out of the cockpit before the plane crashed, a U.S. intelligence source tells CBS News.
Nuclear talks
Secretary of State John Kerry returned to Switzerland early this morning to conclude high wire negotiations with Iran about a framework deal to halt its nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. CBS News correspondent Margaret Brennan reports U.S. diplomats are optimistic that there is now a visible "path" to reach what would be a historically significant arms control agreement by the self-imposed Tuesday deadline.
Iran nukes poll
A CBS News poll shows both President Obama and the Republicans in Congress receive poor marks for their handling of Iran's nuclear capabilities and the current international negotiations to curtail them. Detroit police brutality
Police officers in a Detroit suburb are under investigation for a violent traffic stop. Dash cam video from January shows an officer beating 57-year-old Floyd Dent. They also used a taser on him. Officers say they thought he was reaching for a gun. CBS News correspondent Vinita Nair reports on why Dent says he was framed.
V2V interference
Potential presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio and rising Democratic Sen. Cory Booker are pushing a bill to improve Wi-Fi access for the public. However, experts say their proposal could sideline a new effort to prevent up to 80 percent of car crashes. CBS News correspondent Kris Van Cleave reports from the Department of Transportation research lab that's testing the new technology.
Matter of taste
Climate change could have an impact so real you ,could literally taste it. A new report suggests increased temperatures due to greenhouse gas emissions could change the way foods taste and make some vegetables, fruits and seafood varieties harder to find.
Losing ground
In just 15 years, the American workforce has become increasingly diverse, yet gender-based and racial trends remain stubbornly entrenched. Since 2001, women workers have lost share of employment in 48 out of the 50 highest-paying jobs in the country, even though more women are in the workforce today and more are graduating from college. CBS News MoneyWatch reports on why.
Yoga mindset
Before Mark Bertolini became CEO of Aetna, he almost died on a family ski trip. While recovering, he looked for alternative ways to manage pain. "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King reports Bertolini found healing in yoga and meditation, and that inspired him to bring a new mindset to one of the nation's largest health insurance companies.
