Coming down

The Confederate battle flag outside the South Carolina Statehouse is being removed 23 days after the massacre of state Sen. Bickering talks

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has confounded and infuriated his nation's creditors ever since his Syriza party was swept into power last year on an anti-austerity platform. Trump's center stage

"True Detective" secrets

When Andy Mackenzine walked into his audition for season 2 of "True Detective," he didn't know what to expect. "I read for a couple of roles at once. ... The process took quite some time. ... Then I got the call that I got a role," Mackenzie told CBS News. But he still wasn't sure exactly which role. Mackenzie says from the very beginning, everything about the show has been kept very much under wraps.
