Sarah Silverman's Twitter account hacked following DNC comments

Sarah Silverman calls out "Bernie or bust" supporters at DNC 07:58

Sarah Silverman drew a fair amount of criticism for her speech at the Democratic National Convention -- and the ire of hackers, apparently.

Silverman chastised Bernie Sanders supporters who refused to lend their support to the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, saying, "You're being ridiculous," in a moment of unscripted candor.

While she gave several interviews following Monday's remarks, Silverman stayed quite on Twitter -- save for a photo expressing her continued admiration for Sanders -- until Wednesday morning, at least, when a very uncharacteristic tweet popped up.

"America, are you awakening? #Hilary4Prison," the now-deleted post read, along with some Russian text and a video purportedly from the hacker group Anonymous.

"MY TWITTER ACCT GOT HACKED THIS IS NOT ME," Silverman quickly clarified before deleting the offending tweet.
