Hillary Clinton will return to the campaign trail Thursday, according to a spokesman, a move that comes after the candidate canceled three days’ worth of events due to pneumonia.

The Democratic candidate abruptly left a 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York Sunday morning, with her campaign telling reporters that she had felt “overheated.” After recovering at her daughter Chelsea’s Manhattan apartment and then returning to the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, N.Y., Clinton’s doctor released a statement saying she had been diagnosed with pneumonia the preceding Friday.

In an interview with CNN Monday night, Clinton said she was feeling “much better” and that she hadn’t disclosed the pneumonia diagnosis because she “didn’t think it was going to be that big a deal.”

Clinton was slated to appear at a series of fundraisers in California Monday and Tuesday, and to speak in Nevada on Wednesday. Her Monday events were canceled entirely, while her husband, former President Bill Clinton, filled in for her Tuesday and will do the same in Nevada on Wednesday.

Spokesman Nick Merrill said she kept busy while recuperating at home Tuesday: “She has spent the day catching up on reading briefings, making calls, and she watched President Obama’s speech in Philadelphia on TV,” he said in a statement to reporters.

The Clinton campaign announced Tuesday night that Clinton will headline an event in Greensboro, N.C., on Thursday. She has said she will release additional information about her health in the coming days.
