Broken trust
Over two decades, OB/GYN Dr. Nikita Levy saw more than 12,000 patients and secretly videoed and photographed thousands of them in sexually explicit ways. CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller hears the victims tell their stories for the first time.
Filling shoes
Should Mr. Obama find a nominee to replace out going Attorney General Eric Holder with a record as a strong, apolitical public servant, the Senate confirmation process for a successor could go smoothly. Making the process easier for the President, the Senate late last year changed the rules so that the minority party can no longer use a filibuster to block the confirmation. Still, the confirmation process could be politically charged, particularly during the midterm campaign season. Some Republican senators have suggested that Mr. Obama hold off on naming his nominee until after the November elections.
Safe subways?
Iraq's prime minister said yesterday that captive militants for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) told his intelligence agents of an alleged plot to attack subways in the United States and Paris. U.S. law enforcement officials told CBS News Correspondent Don Dahler they are investigating the threat, but as of overnight, there was still no intelligence on any credible specific plot against the U.S.. But to calm commuters New York's governor and mayor both rode the subway.
Military school
A CBS News review shows campus police across the country have received millions of dollars worth of military gear from the Pentagon. CBS News Correspondent Manuel Bojorquez reports, there are calls to halt those transfers, questioning their use.
No history
Hundreds of Denver-area students walked out of school to protest proposed changes to the new curriculum in advanced-placement U.S. history class. The school board proposed that the course concentrate on the more positive aspects of American history and not encourage civil disobedient. Student say this is form of censorship. CBS News Correspondent Anna Werner reports, a former student, whose family escaped Saddam Hussein's dictatorship in Iraq, wrote to the school board that from where he comes from opposing authority is not necessarily a bad thing.
Bad history
New details have emerged that the suspect in the case of a missing University of Virginia student was dismissed from his previous university for complaints of rape. And yet the investigation does not seem to be any closer to finding Hannah Graham. CBS News correspondent Wyatt Andrews reports from Charlottesville, Virginia, where the 18-year-old vanished nearly two weeks ago, that the police admitted they are just about out of leads in the search for the 18-year-old.
Kansas horse-race
This is not where Republican senator Pat Roberts expected to find himself six weeks before election day...serving up pancakes with Sarah Palin in Independence, Kan., fighting to save the seat he's held since 1996. CBS News Correspondent Nancy Cordes reports that polls show Greg Orman, a businessman and former Democrat running as an Independent, has pulled even with Roberts. Now a series of GOP all-stars like Sen. John McCain are flying in to help the 78-year-old incumbent.
Baristas complaints
Even those who say they like their job at Starbucks, paint a picture of a business that underpays front-line workers, enforces work rules arbitrarily, and too often fails to strike a balance between corporate goals and employee needs. Of course, such complaints are nothing new in retail, where low pay and erratic schedules are the norm. But by its own account, Starbucks is no ordinary company, and ostensibly a far cry from the fast-food outlets now facing a nationwide uprising by employees tired of working for peanuts.
