Nuclear plan battle

An historic international agreement to limit Iran's nuclear program is hitting a buzzsaw of criticism. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid says lawmakers are taking sides before even seeing the fine print of the deal. President Obama says the accord will keep the world safer. CBS News correspondent Nancy Cordes reports the president's allies are already lobbying. And you can watch CBS News live coverage of Mr. Obama's news conference at 1 p.m. ET today.

El Chapo

Surveillance video shows the moment Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman escaped from his Mexican jail cell. It shows the drug kingpin pacing before he disappears from view behind a wall. CBS News correspondent Omar Villafranca reports that's where he climbed into a tunnel.

"Accountant of Auschwitz"

A 94-year-old former SS sergeant who served at the Auschwitz death camp has been convicted on 300,000 counts of accessory to murder. The state court in the northern German city of Lueneburg gave Oskar Groening a four-year sentence. CBS News correspondent Mark Phillips reports Groening had testified that he guarded prisoners' baggage after they arrived at Auschwitz and collected money stolen from them. Prosecutors said that amounts to helping the death camp function.

Nearly 22 million Americans had their personal information stolen in a major breach of Office of Personnel Management (OPM) databases, the federal government acknowledged this week. The Obama administration insists it's already taking steps to respond to the massive hack and to lessen the risk of future breaches. For starters, the administration is replacing the head of the OPM. Even so, some members of Congress say the president isn't off the hook just yet.

Amazon has now become a titan of retail that has branched out into many other areas, as well.

Ultimate fighting woman

CBS News correspondent Ben Tracy reports on how she changed mixed martial arts.
