Snooki is expecting a baby boy

(CBS News) It's going to be a boy for Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.

The "Jersey Shore" star is expecting a son with fiance Jionni LaValle, she confirmed Wednesday on her Facebook page.

She wrote, "Can finally share the good news......we're havin' a BOY!"

She also shared the news with her Twitter followers, posting a photo of herself holding a magazine with the story on the cover:

The 24-year-old TV personality confirmed in March that she and LaValle are engaged and expecting their first child.
