David Arquette engaged to Christina McLarty

David Arquette popped the question to entertainment news reporter Christina McLarty.

ET confirms that the 42-year-old "Scream" actor proposed on Wednesday night during a family dinner in Malibu, Calif., to his longtime love. Arquette's daughter, Coco, was reportedly present along with the couple's 2-month-old son, Charlie West. McLarty, 33, gave birth to Charlie in April.

"Mom, dad and baby are doing well," David's rep told People at the time. "They appreciate all of your well wishes and thank you for respecting their privacy at this time."

The couple began dating in 2011 and announced Christina's pregnancy in November 2013.

Their engagement news comes just days after Arquette's ex Courteney Cox announced her engagement to Johnny McDaid from the band Snow Patrol.
