(CBS/AP) SAN FRANCISCO - Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, the Harvard University classmates of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg who believe the billionaire stole their idea for the social networking site, have accepted a settlement in the legal battle made famous by the film "The Social Network."

Who are the Winklevoss twins?

The Winklevoss twins said in a one-paragraph court filing yesterday they will now accept a settlement that was worth $65 million when agreed upon in 2008.

The twins had gone to court to undo the deal of $20 million in cash and $45 million in Facebook stock.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the twins, saying they knew what they were agreeing to at the time. The decision yesterday means the twins won't try pressing the issue before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Facebook issued a brief statement to the effect that it had "considered this case closed for a long time." The company added that it was "pleased to see the other party now agrees."
