Video tallies up Batman's body count in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice"
As many critics pointed out, Batman killed an awful lot of people in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice." But just how many, exactly, did he do away with?
For the curious, here's good news: Yes, YouTuber Mr. Sunday Movies has tallied up the Caped Crusader's body count in the character's latest cinematic outing, and the results are impressive, to say the least.
So impressive, in fact, that he's spliced in an earlier incarnation of Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) watching in horror as his successor (Ben Affleck) gets to work.
Mr. Sunday Movies has examined this before, cataloguing the kills of previous Batman movies and TV shows. For comparison, it's worth noting that across seven feature films and one 1960s television series, the DC Comics character has been responsible for the deaths of 45 people. And yet Zack Snyder's take on the character is able to get all the way to 21 kills in just one film.
Let's see how much higher he can drive that total in the "Justice League" film.
