Police search for missing Pa. woman

CBS Philly

(CBS) TINICUM TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Delaware County law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who has been missing for a week, CBS Philly reports.

Debra Miller, 38, of Essington left her home on Sunday, Nov. 18 to go to the grocery store, but she hasn't been seen or heard from since. Miller's brother tells CBS Philly it is unlike her to disappear like this.

CBS Philly reports that Tinicum Township police do not suspect foul play, but search teams combed the woods around Miller's home on Sunday.

"We've assembled some search parties to eliminate that she went missing in our township," says Police Chief Steve Edmiston. "We're going to search some wooded areas, we have some dogs that are going to search the area."

Miller is described as a white female, 5-feet-8 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds with long black hair and brown eyes.
