Oscars 2013: Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence named as presenters

Three of this year's nominees will also be taking to the Oscar stage as presenters.

Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence have all been added to the list of presenters for the upcoming Academy Awards, producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced Thursday.

Affleck, who missed out on a nomination in the best director category, is nominated as a producer for "Argo." He's already an Oscar winner, having won the best original screenplay award for co-writing the 1997 film "Good Will Hunting" with Matt Damon.

Chastain, who is nominated in the lead actress category for her performance in "Zero Dark Thirty," received her first nomination last year for her supporting role in "The Help."

Lawrence, nominated for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook," will compete against Chastain for best actress. She received her first nomination in 2010, for "Winter's Bone."

The trio joins a list of previously-announced presenters that includes best actress winners Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon; Stars of the superhero film "The Avengers"; last year's acting winners Jean Dujardin, Christopher Plummer, Octavia Spencer and Meryl Streep; and "Chicago" stars Richard Gere, Queen Latifah, Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The 85th annual Academy Awards will air live Feb. 24 on ABC, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
