"Nashville" will get an extra special guest this spring when first lady Michelle Obama makes a cameo appearance.

She will grace the small screen in the upcoming May 7 episode, which will find Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) calling on Mrs. Obama, Kellie Pickler and others to hold a benefit concert after learning that Luke Wheeler (Will Chase) has been injured in Afghanistan.

This isn't the first lady's first TV appearance. She's appeared on "Sesame Street" and "iCarly" and will appear in the season finale of "Parks and Recreation" on Thursday.

"Nashville" airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. The season 2 finale airs on May 14.
