Kourtney Kardashian says split with Scott Disick gave her anxiety

Khloe Kardashian isn't the only sister who's had a rough year; Kourtney Kardashian wrote on her app that 2015 was ridden with anxiety, mostly because of her split from longtime partner Scott Disick.

Kardashian and Disick had been together for nine years before they broke up in the summer, and the pair had just welcomed son Reign, now 12 months, when they split, in addition to their small children Mason, 6, and Penelope, 3.

She wrote that the best way for her to confront her anxiety was by exercising.

"Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I'm generally not a nervous person but I get anxious," she said. "I also get nauseated; I feel like I can't eat when it is really bad, but I force myself to stay healthy. One thing I've found that really helps is working out."

Kardashian said initially, she decided to get fit after she gave birth to Reign, but the exercise ended up helping her with other issues, as well.

"I couldn't wait to feel strong and in shape again," she said. "I didn't know that I would be going through a breakup and just an overall crazy year." Kardashian is undoubtedly referring to the coming out of her stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner, as transgender, and the hospitalization of her estranged brother-in-law, Lamar Odom.

The TV personality says she now works out five times a week to lower her anxiety.

"My anxiety is always worse in the mornings so that's when I schedule my workouts," she wrote. "I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up. People are very quick to judge others by appearances but you truly don't know what someone's motivation is or what is going on inside them. For me, exercise is as much about my body as it is about calming my mind."

Disick had an eventful 2015 as well; he was in rehab at least two times.
