First look: "Scandal"-inspired clothing line for The Limited

"Scandal" will kick off its fourth season on Sept. 25, but you can get your Olivia Pope fix even earlier thanks to the new clothing line inspired by the hit show at The Limited.

A video is giving fans a sneak peek at the collection, which hits stores and will be available online starting next week (per The New York Times).

The "Scandal" collection has more than 70 items, ranging in price from $49 to $250. Kerry Washington -- who plays the powerful (and always well-dressed) D.C. fixer Olivia Pope -- worked on the collection, as did "Scandal" costume designer Lyn Paolo.

"Women often feel that they have to be either smart or beautiful, powerful or pretty, either fashion forward or successful, and I think this clothing line says you can be all of those things," Washington says. "You can be fabulous and fearless. And you don't have to compromise who you are as a woman to fit somebody's expectation of what power looks like."

The actress also emphasized the versatility of the "Scandal" line. "There are 78 pieces in this collection, but with those 78 pieces, you could come up with about 3,000 different looks because you can interchange pieces with each other and stuff from your own closet," she said. "It's pretty amazing."
