"Dancing with the Stars" says goodbye to a "Bachelor"

Sean Lowe may not have won "Dancing with the Stars," but the "Bachelor" did walk away with a few extra dance steps that will likely come in handy on his wedding day.

"The Bachelor" star and his pro-partner Peta Murgatroyd were the latest pair eliminated on season 16 of the reality dancing competition. Lowe's exit doesn't come as too much of a surprise, as his scores haven't been very impressive this season. He managed to make it out of the bottom two at one point, only to receive the lowest overall score from the judges this week -- 42 out of 60.

The feedback wasn't great, with the panel calling his dancing more tragic than magic; judge Led Goodman called his dances a "big ugly." Also in jeopardy on Tuesday? Karina Smirnoff and Jacoby Jones. But in the end, it was Lowe who had to hang up his dancing shoes.

Lowe, though, took the elimination news in stride. "I've enjoyed every second of [this show]," he said. "I truly am blessed to have to have taken part in this with all these stars. I'm still just a normal guy from Dallas. What an incredible opportunity."

Lowe is a "normal guy" who just happens to be getting married on television. He and Catherine Guidici are expected to televise their nuptials on ABC. When asked backstage on Tuesday whether he's a "groomzilla," Lowe told E! News, "I'm a smart man, I know the wedding is all about the woman, so I'm going to let her take care of most of it and when she wants my opinion, she'll ask for it."

Tuesday's episode also featured musical performances by Jason Derulo and Emeli Sande. When the remaining stars return next week, they will attempt dance styles chosen by viewers via Twitter.
