Charlie Sheen getting a Comedy Central Roast

(CBS) Comedy Central announced Tuesday it's roasting Charlie Sheen! What can a bunch of comedians on a stage say about a guy who's said and done more outrageous things than they can dream? Who knows!

The "Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen" will tape Sept. 10 in Los Angeles and air on the network Monday Sept. 19. Time helpfully points out Sept. 19 is the night "Two and a Half Men" starring Ashton Kutcher (and not Charlie Sheen) airs its ninth season premiere episode.

"Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast... which scares even us," said Comedy Central's head of original programming and production in a press release. Oh, for Pete's sake.

After the drugs, hospital trips, the firing, the tour and the divorce, Sheen has been relatively quiet of late. His second "goddess,' Natalie Kenly, recently left him.
