2 homes a 'total loss' in Carpentersville fire
CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill. (CBS) – Chopper 2 captured the aftermath of a garage fire that spread to nearby homes in northwest suburban Carpentersville.
Fire crews responded to the scene around 4:15 p.m.
The call originally was for three structures on fire on Kingston Circle off Wakefield Drive, but the number eventually grew to four with two single-family homes and two detached garages.
All four structures are considered a total loss.
There were no injures.
A total of 25 fire departments and over 100 firefighters responded to the scene.
