Stretch of hot temperatures continue in North Texas
North Texas closes out the month of September with 21 above-average days for the month, including a triple-digit day back on September 4.
It was a warm month, and we're kicking off the month of October with continued warm, above-average temperatures.
Expect highs near 90° as we head into October 1 on Wednesday. We linger close to, or just above, that 90° mark as we get through much of the extended period.
Our morning lows start off in the upper 60s to near 70, and we'll see abundant sunshine as high pressure dominates our forecast.
Fortunately, humidity remains comfortable.
