Fire danger expected across North Texas as hot, windy conditions continue

DFW's first rain chances of Oct. start next weekend

There is a chance of rain, which is expected to arrive with a cold front on Saturday or Sunday. The American model (GFS) has it arriving overnight, going into Sunday morning.

While we are expecting cooler weather behind the front, the forecast is still showing above-normal highs for this time of year. We continue to wait for some fall weather to return to North Texas.
