Below-average temperatures expected Sunday. North Texas heats up later this week
We had over 4" of rainfall at DFW since the last two days of meteorological summer.
This week doesn't have any rain in the forecast. Quite a whiplash of temperatures of late, with the cooler weather following us into the start of the week.
There is a full moon Sunday night: the corn moon to signify the start of the corn harvest in the Midwest that starts soon. Under mostly clear skies, temperatures will drop into the mid-60s, a "maybe need a jacket" kind of morning for the kids.
There is wonderful early Fall weather for us to start the week. Then high pressure moves overhead and we warm into the 90s to close the weekend.
