Sea ice decline "unprecedented," according to Arctic Report Card

The annual Arctic Report Card says the pace of "sea-ice decline and surface ocean warming is unprecedented in at least the last 1,500 years." Scientists estimate that over the last 15 years, the Greenland ice sheet lost up to 270 billion tons of mass each year. That contributes to rising sea levels.
