After years of battling congressional republicans over every issue imaginable, President Obama has suffered a major defeat at the hands of his own party. Democrats, spurred by labor unions, joined with conservative republicans to block legislation lowering trade barriers with nations ringing the Pacific. Julianna Goldman reports from Washington
