Chemicals in plastic home products linked to health issues
A series of studies found that replacements for potentially harmful plastic compounds that were thought to be safer may be just as risky, especially for children. The phthalates are increasingly used to strengthen products including plastic wrap, soap, cosmetics and processed food containers.
