4/23: U.S. drone strike kills two al Qaeda hostages; 10 years since the first YouTube video
A U.S. drone strike meant to take out an al Qaeda compound also killed two hostages, an American and an Italian. The drone strike took place in January, but it wasn't until April that the CIA realized the hostages were also killed; and, YouTube celebrated the 10th anniversary of its first video. The company forever changed the media landscape, helping to make viral videos what they are today.
