40-year anniversary of bulletproof vests for cops

After a year that saw more than 100 officers killed by firearms, the Department of Justice in 1975 decided to try to curb the toll. It announced an experimental program to give new bulletproof vests to police officers across the country. Reported by "CBS Evening News" in 1975 by correspondent Fred Graham.
