How extreme weather in U.S. can be traced to rapid changes in the Arctic

Extreme weather is becoming more frequent and more widespread around the country. California suffered the worst wildfire season in history last year. In January, the Midwest saw record-breaking cold. Historic flooding in Nebraska last month caused more than a billion dollars in damage.
