Would-Be Robber Gets Shock Of His Life

The New York Daily News is reporting on a would-be robber who gets the shock of his life, when he tries to rob a store wielding a baseball bat. The store owner whips out a shotgun, disarms the man, then takes pity on him and offers him $40 and food. Only in New York. According to the newspaper, the robber begged for mercy and claimed the economy had pushed him over the edge.
