According to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, Kate and William celebrated their first New Year's Eve as a married couple at a bash held at the Middleton family home in Berkshire, England.

They celebrated the start of 2012 in a tent, a lavish teepee-style kata made of animal hides typically used for cooking, smoking fish and as a shelter from heavy snow.

The space featured a dance floor and seating for about 100 guests. William's brother, Prince Harry, didn't attend; he reportedly spent New Year's Eve at the Swiss ski resort of Verbier.
