Why aren't you listening to The KickDrums right now?

The KickDrums KickDrums

(CBS) Producer-singer-songwriter Alex Fitts and dj-producer Matt Penttila were engineers working in Cleveland, Ohio, when they decided to get together to perform as The Kickdrums. They've worked with big names - 50 Cent, John Legend, Adele - but these days the duo is making its own music.

The duo's full-length, "Meet Your Ghost," came out in late June and features tightly constructed dance beats, bass that's meaty without weighing down the tracks and lots of keyboard melodies and grungy guitars.

The track "Colors" has all those things, including a keyboard hook that's easy to hum and a tempo that starts slow and kicks into double-time for the chorus. Just try not to sing it after a couple listens.
