White House Monitoring Fort Hood Situation

The White House says it is monitoring the situation at the Fort Hood Army post, where at least seven people have been killed by at least two shooters.

"[Press Secretary] Robert Gibbs recently informed the president what has been reported about seven individuals dead and more wounded in the Fort Hood shooting," White House spokesman Bill Burton said. "The White House will continue to monitor the situation."
