Watch: House fire breaks out in Sandy-hit town

(CBS News) CBS News correspondent Elaine Quijano smelled smoke and then saw it pouring out of the empty house behind her while filming a live shot for superstorm Sandy coverage in Moonachie, N.J. The scene, broadcast on "CBS This Morning," quickly turned to a full-blown house fire. Firefighters arrived while the blaze raged on-air and and began pumping water into the home.

N.J. residents in 2 towns rescued amid dramatic flooding

Quijano was there to report on the devastating effects of superstorm Sandy on the inland towns of Moonachie and Little Ferry. The town's residents were surprised when a tidal surge caused the Hackensack River to overflow its banks and pour more than five feet of water into some areas.
