Vine star Hayes Grier in hospital after dirt bike accident

Vine star Hayes Grier is recovering after a dirt bike accident.

Grier's older brother Nash, who is also a Vine star, wrote on Twitter that Hayes was in a crash and sent to the hospital. He posted a text message saying that his brother was "pretty busted up" and "in a lot of pain" with a concussion, fractured ribs and a bruised lung but with "no major stuff."

Grier's rep told Us Weekly that Hayes is doing "OK."

"Earlier today, Hayes Grier was involved in a dirt bike accident and immediately transported to a local hospital. Hayes suffered a concussion, broken rib, bruised lung and multiple skin lacerations. Thankfully, he is OK and currently resting and recovering in the hospital surrounded by his family, where he will remain for the next few days. We can't thank you all enough for the outpouring of prayers and support for Hayes!"

Nash got the hashtag #PrayForHayes trending after he posted his initial tweet about his brother.

He wrote, "#PrayForHayes Just got a call on set that said Hayes was in a crash. He's now in the hospital." The tweet was retweeted nearly 50,000 times.

In addition to having 4.4 million followers on Vine, Hayes was the youngest male contestant to appear on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2015 and he will also be in an upcoming Hulu TV show called "Freakish."
