TROUTDALE, Ore. - A woman allegedly driving a stolen car in Oregon was caught on police dash cam video jumping off a bridge in an attempt to flee from authorities trying to pull her over, reports CBS affiliate KOIN.

The video captured Wednesday shows an officer in Troutdale trying to pull the woman over. The officer initially was only pulling the woman over for a minor traffic violation, but upon running the registration on the car he determined it was a stolen vehicle.

The dash cam video shows the woman speeding away from the officer in a green Ford Taurus and then eventually coming to a rolling-stop in the middle of the Stark Street Bridge. The woman is then seen exiting the vehicle, running and jumping off the bridge into the Sandy River as an officer yells, “Don’t do it!”

Crews were eventually able to pull the woman out of the water to safety. She was reportedly taken to the hospital for minor injuries sustained during the incident.

According to Wikipedia, the Stark Street Bridge is 20-feet high.

The driver has been identified by authorities as 26-year-old Rebecca Humphries, reports the station. She reportedly faces a number of charges.
