TUCSON, Ariz. - Authorities say a Tucson man suspected of drunken driving is in custody for allegedly running over his wife and killing her.

Tucson police said 48-year-old Todd Rounds is being held on $100,000 bond in Pima County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder.

They say 47-year old Donna Rounds was fatally struck by a vehicle around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8. Investigators said the vehicle involved was Rounds' Ford pickup.

Police say Todd Rounds called 911 from his home in the neighborhood to report he had been in a collision.

Responding officers found him walking back toward the scene of the crash.

Police say detectives determined that Todd Rounds was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
