(CBS) PEYTON, Colo. - Two women were found dead in a home in Peyton, Colo. and police say a man suspected in the killings led police on a chase that ended with him committing suicide, CBS Denver reports.
El Paso County Sheriff's deputies were called to the home on Monday and when they arrived, they observed a man speed off, according to the station.
A chase ensued until the suspect, who has not been identified, crashed roughly 40 miles from the home. Authorities say the man then took his own life with a gun, the station reports.
A neighbor of the house where the bodies were discovered says a male and female lived there. The names of the victims have not been released.
According to the station, authorities say they are not pursuing additional suspects in the deaths.
