"The Colbert Report" sets lineup for final week
The end of "The Colbert Report" is now upon us, and the roster of guests for the show's final week has a surprising finisher.
Comedy Central announced the lineup on Thursday for the days leading up to Stephen Colbert's sign-off on Dec. 18.
"The Interview" star Seth Rogen will be Monday's guest, rapper Kendrick Lamar is stopping by Tuesday, and Wednesday's guest is National Book Award recipient Phil Klay. As for his final guest, that's slated to be Colbert's "colleague, and lifelong friend, Grimmy" -- which we're thinking has got to be nickname for the Grim Reaper.
Colbert is set to take over for David Letterman as host of the "Late Show" sometime next year. Letterman's final show is set for May 20, 2015.
"The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" (formerly titled "The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore") will take the place of "The Colbert Report" beginning Monday, Jan. 19.
