Taylor Swift: "I think people might need a break from me"

Even Taylor Swift is getting sick of Taylor Swift, it seems.

The singer told NME that she plans to take a break after her "1989" tour ends -- and she said she thinks the break will be welcomed.

"I think people might need a break from me," she said.

Swift said she's already worried on how she'll top "1989."

"How could the next one be as big?" she asked. "Maybe the next album will be a bridge to somewhere else. Or maybe I'll just go ahead and change everything."

In December, when the tour is finished, she plans to get lots of rest and relaxation -- but maybe with a little work for good measure.

"I'm going to ... I don't know. Hang out with my friends," she said. "Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don't know."

Swift might think people are tired of her, but pal Selena Gomez just credited Swift with helping her pull through tough times.
