Soap star accused of grabbing, kissing woman, kisses more women in courthouse

MIAMI -- A Venezuelan soap star accused of grabbing a female security guard and kissing her on the mouth in November walked through the Miami-Dade Metro courthouse this week kissing other women, reports CBS Miami.

Fernando Carrillo kissed multiple women on the cheek while he was at the courthouse fighting a battery charge. The alleged victim reportedly said Carrillo grabbed her head and planted a kiss on her lips. She said he told her he had to because she had a great behind. She claims she fought him off.

Carrillo disputes her account.

"They want to say lies, like I kissed you on the cheek," he said, while kissing a CBS Miami producer on the cheek. "And now you're going to say I kissed you on the lips? That's very frivolous. I would never kiss a woman on the lips without consent."

The station reports that Carrillo was in court asking a judge to reverse a plea deal he accepted months ago that gave him 40 days house arrest and a year probation. He argued the judge did not warn him accepting the plea could mean he would be deported.

The judge reportedly admitted he did not warn him but still denied Carrillo's request to take the case to trial.

"I feel sad that the judge is not giving me a fair trial," said Carrillo. "He doesn't like me and I have to say I really don't like him either."

In the courtroom, the soap star's supporters wore shirts saying "besame mucho," which means "Kiss me a lot" in English.

Carrillo will be back in court in May for one last shot to try to convince the judge to reverse that plea agreement and hold off a possible deportation.

CBS Miami spoke to the woman making the accusations. She said she did not know Carrillo changed his mind about the plea. She stands by her allegations.
