The 36-year-old pleaded Friday to three counts of illegal voluntary sexual relationships with the 17-year-old boy. The Kansas City Star reports that she will be sentenced to probation.

According to CBS Affiliate KCTV, court records said Young had sex three times with a student while she was a teacher at Pleasant Ridge High School. The investigation discovered that Young began the relationship while she was consulting with the student about his pending child with his girlfriend at the time.

The investigation also revealed semi-nude photos of Young on the victim's cell phone.

Young carried on a relationship with the youth from Aug. 1, 2009 to June 2, 2010, and had a joint checking account with him.

Leavenworth County Attorney Todd Thompson says Young also bought a Mustang convertible for the teen to drive to school.

Thompson says the two had sex in Young's car, at her home and once at Pleasant Ridge High School in Easton, just north of Leavenworth in eastern Kansas.

Though the victim was of legal age of consent for Kansas, it is still illegal for teachers to have "sexual relations" with students at their schools, according to the Leavenworth Times.

Young resigned in April from her job as an English teacher and volleyball coach at Pleasant Ridge High School.Police said Young attempted suicide after the investigation started.
