(CBS/AP) LA MESA, Calif. - A Southern California man was arrested last week on suspicion that he raped a woman he met on a Christian dating website, police said Friday.

La Mesa police said 37-year-old Sean Banks was taken into custody on Feb. 11 and booked for investigation of rape and residential burglary, CBS Los Angeles reports. He is accused of assaulting a woman in her La Mesa home in October 2012.

Police said the two met on ChristianMingle.com, where Banks went by the name "Rarity," according to CBS Los Angeles. He arrived to the victim's home where he allegedly became sexually aggressive, ultimately raping her, the station reports.

Investigators believe that Banks may have assaulted other women he met through the website and other dating sites, where he may have used false names such as "Rylan," Rylan Butterwood, and Rylan Harbough, according to the station.
