Runaway pet tiger captured in Texas

CONROE, Texas - Police in Conroe, Texas, captured a tiger seen wandering around the city wearing a collar and leash Thursday morning, CBS Dallas-Fort Worth reported.

Animal control officers responded and took custody of the tiger, which is young and female. They said she is also trained.

A passerby said the tiger ran up to him, jumped and put her paws on his shoulders then started licking his face like a dog.

Animals control officers said the owner had to leave home because of flooding, and brought the tiger to a friend's house, where she took off.

It is unclear if the owner will face charges.
