'Race' Fans Win Moscow Getaway

John Riedner a retired electronics technician at a nuclear power plant, and his wife packed up their RV and left Red Wing, Minn. to spend the winter in Florida — but not before submitting an application to compete on "The Amazing Race".

No luck there. However the Riedners did find luck as contestants in the Around the World with The Amazing Race sweepstakes — a weekly destination giveaway courtesy of The Early Show and Travelocity — and are thrilled to be headed to Moscow.

Having never won a contest before, John says he was skeptical when first contacted with the news. The Riedners soon realized their good fortune.

"I think this is the real thing," John recalls thinking, once the official paperwork arrived. The seasoned travelers will likely take their five-day trip to Russia's capital city in late summer or early fall.

John and his wife have been fans of "The Amazing Race" for the past several seasons. They are rooting for retired couple Fran and Barry, though John thinks hippies BJ and Tyler will likely take the prize.

Be sure to register each Tuesday night beginning at 10 p.m. ET to win a free trip to the exotic location featured the previous week on "The Amazing Race 9," courtesy of The Early Show and Travelocity.
